QPSP Dragon Boat “Tug of War”

We’re thrilled to announce a brand‑new free community event at Queens Park Swimming Pool, delivered in partnership with Dragon Boat Victoria (DBV)!

Join us on Sunday 22 February 2026, from 9:00am – 10:30am, for an exciting morning on the water featuring our very first Dragon Boat “Tug of War”. This unique event is open to all fitness and experience levels, no paddling experience needed!

To help us manage safety briefings, equipment fitting, rotation groups and participant flow, registration is required.

Your Safety Matters

  • The event will be delivered with comprehensive safety protocols including:
  • Mandatory PFD (life jackets) for all on‑water participants
  • Safety briefing before entering craft
  • Lifeguards on duty monitoring the water at all times
  • Clearly marked activity and spectator zones
  • Boat loading limits and controlled rotations managed by DBV staff

Wet Weather
Activities may be delayed or cancelled in the event of lightning or unsafe conditions. Updates will be posted via QPSP social media and onsite signage.
