LGBTIQA+ Swimming Night (July 2025)

Sunday 6 July - we're inviting the LGBTIQA+ community to join us for our LGBTIQA+ Swimming Night and Aqua Aerobics class.

We're extending an invitation to the broader LGBTIQA+ community to join us for a special swimming night at Keilor East Leisure Centre from 5:00pm - 8:00pm. Featuring a FREE Aqua Aerobics class from 6:00pm - 6:45pm in the 25m pool. No detailed personal information required - just your name and contact number to register for the class. Bookings can be made via the Active World App, over the phone or at reception.

This event is open to all people whom identify as part of the LGBTIQA+ community, including all allies, friends and (rainbow) families. We'll have the splash park in operation as well, so kids are also welcome to attend with their parent(s) / guardian(s).

To book the Aqua Aerobics class via the Active World App follow these steps:

• Download the Active World App
• Select 'Book Session'
• Go to Sunday 6 July
• Scroll down to the '6:00pm All Abilities, Freestyle' class
• Select 'Book'
• Select your member profile name
• Select 'Continue' and then 'Confirm Booking'

If you do not wish to provide your personal details during the booking process via the Active World App, bookings for the class can also be done in person on the night (Sunday 6th July).

In the event of any instances of anti-LGBTIQA+ behaviour or comments within our venues, please speak to a Duty Manager immediately. We are proud to have an incredible and diverse team of staff whom either identify themselves as part of the LGBTIQA+ community, or as proud and supportive allies.
