  • New Tactile Ground Surface Indicators (T.G.S.I’s): New warning tactile ground surface indicators will be implemented to assist patrons who are blind or vision impaired.
  • Improved Road Safety Conditions: Enhanced road safety measures, including new line markings, traffic calming measures, and speed management devices, will be introduced to ensure safer vehicle movements throughout the car park and along Pynor Avenue.

In addition to the car park upgrades, we are pleased to advise that Moonee Valley City Council will also be upgrading the car park lighting. Following community feedback, we intend to improve the overall standard of visibility in the surrounding AVLC car parks, to increase patron safety.

  • Enhancing Car Park Lighting: Following comprehensive lighting assessments, new lighting will be installed and existing fixtures upgraded to improve light quality, safety, and security throughout the car park. The car park lighting will comply with acceptable public lighting standards.

These upgrades are designed to enhance accessibility, safety, and convenience for all car park users. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this improvement period!
