Teen Boxing

From Monday 22 January, 2024 we are expanding our offering for our MOVE Teen memberships, with the addition of Teen Boxing.

Our Teen Boxing sessions will be held from 4:00pm – 4:45pm every Monday.

Structured for those with a MOVE Teen membership (ages 13 – 15yrs), these sessions will use a variety of punching techniques and boxing conditioning exercises that will inspire self-confidence, respect, trust in others, whilst also allowing them to learn about determination and self-mastery.

Boxing brings a multitude of benefits, including:

  • Physical Fitness: Enhance cardiovascular health, strength, and overall physical conditioning through tailored boxing workouts.
  • Discipline and Focus: Develop discipline, focus, and concentration as teens learn the techniques and strategies of boxing.
  • Confidence Boost: Build self-confidence and self-esteem through skill progression and accomplishment in a supportive environment.
  • Stress Relief: Provide a healthy outlet for stress and anxiety, promoting mental well-being and emotional resilience.
  • Teamwork and Camaraderie: Foster a sense of camaraderie and teamwork through partner drills and group activities.
  • Goal Setting: Encourage goal-setting and perseverance, teaching teens to set and achieve both short-term and long-term fitness objectives.
  • Self-Defense Skills: Equip teens with practical self-defense skills, enhancing their sense of personal safety.
  • Healthy Lifestyle Habits: Instill positive habits early on, promoting a lifelong commitment to health and well-being.
  • Improved Coordination: Enhance coordination, agility, and reflexes through the dynamic movements involved in boxing.
  • Social Skills: Develop social skills and sportsmanship through interactions with peers in a structured and supportive environment.

If you think our Teen Boxing sessions would be a benefit for your teenager, let them discover the holistic approach to health and personal development that it will bring.
