Ascot Vale Leisure Centre steps into the future of community health

The MOVE Health Clinic is now open, offering bulk billed allied health services

Ascot Vale, 29th October, 2025: Imagine a future where going to your local leisure centre means so much more than a swim or visit to the gym. Where you can schedule a visit to receive rehabilitation advice for your hip, discuss your dietary requirements, enjoy the benefits of a remedial massage or receive treatment for an injury – all under the same roof.

In Ascot Vale, that future is now a reality.

Ascot Vale Leisure Centre (AVLC) has opened their doors to the highly anticipated MOVE Health Clinic, making it easier than ever before for the community to access healthcare where they already go to move, recover and connect.

Offering four purpose-built, fully equipped allied health consulting suites and a growing team of allied health professionals, locals in Ascot Vale and surrounds will be empowered to take control of their health through services including a Dietitian and an Exercise Physiologist. Plans are also in place to expand into a broader range of allied health offerings including Remedial Massage, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.

And the best part? As a grand opening, *limited time offer, eligible patients can now access these allied health services face-to-face or via video at no out-of-pocket cost, improving access to affordable, high-quality health care for local residents living with chronic health conditions.

Kia Naylor, Allied Health Manager at Belgravia Leisure, says the combination of services offered will continue to be monitored and adjusted according to community needs.

“This approach will foster collaboration between our allied health professionals for comprehensive patient care, whilst leveraging the wonderful facilities and programs of Ascot Vale Leisure Centre.

It’s all about reducing as many barriers as we can for clients in their quest to achieve better health outcomes that matter to them, and we are pleased to offer these services at no out of pocket cost to the community for a limited time,” Naylor said.

Other Belgravia Leisure venues across Australia and New Zealand without space for full consulting suites are currently offering innovative options like Exercise Physiology memberships, providing group-based, affordable access to clinical support for as little as $50 a week. MOVE also offers an EP membership as a part of their Gold Membership offering for as little as $43 a week (concession).
